The apartment is located in a tenement townhouse built in 1900 in Berlin, Kreuzberg. The project included a full renovation with partial reconstruction of all rooms to adapt to an open lifestyle of the couple living there. One of the main aspects of the project was to give a reference to the historical character of the apartment with reference to modern classics. The creative concept was implemented starting from interior architecture like flooring and skirting, through the bathroom and kitchen up to the decorative elements. Some furniture and lighting were designed and tailor-made as part of the concept.
